Danneskiold-Samsøes Allé, Philip de Langes Allé bygning 70, 1434 København K
1893
The School of Architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts
C.T. Andersen
The Danish state
Rebuilt by Rønne Architects in 2002.
The building stands out from the other buildings on Holmen by being built in red brick and not yellow. It is also more richly decorated with wall recesses, window decorations, medallions, cornice and stepped frieze. The reason for the extravagance is presumably that Carlsbergfondet (the Carlsberg Foundation) paid for the building.
