The house is a long block built in sophisticated timber frame with bevelled edges. The panels are of yellow brick.The house takes its name from the peculiar roof, which curves outwards on both the roof side and the hipped ends. The special roof construction is rare in Denmark, but in Germany and France it was more commonly used in the 18th century.
