In 1998 the copper works were converted to the music conservatory by Cubo Architects
Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium consists of four buildings, three of which are built together. One of the three is Kobbersmedjen, which is a long building in yellow brick with rhythmically spaced cast-iron windows. The fourth overlooks the water on the other side of Eik Skaløes Plads (Eik Skaløe's Square). A central feature of the school is the large concrete building from 1916 that houses a concert hall.
