In 1995 Nordre Magasin was rebuilt by Vilhelm Lauritzen AS for The School of Architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts.
The storehouse is one of two identical buildings with gates and windows alternately throughout its length. The original buildings were built in two storeys separated by a portal with a passage above it. In 1860 both storehouses were heightened by one storey, and the portal was pulled down. On the buildings' facades the different shades of the walls' old and new yellow bricks are still visible. The buildings are listed for protection.
