The Regional Archives for Funen

The old part of the building is a two-storey construction built in red brick. The facade is clad in pale grey limestone and decorated with city and district arms from around Funen. Many of the motifs are inspired by Italian Renaissance. The new extension is a three-storey building with sandstone facades, which indicate the relationship with the old storehouse. The roof is curved in a shape that has strong resemblance to the semicircular arched windows in the old building. The new reading room is projecting from the facade of the building and has a large window section with a view of the old building.
