Rebuilt: In 1976 an administration building was added to the theatre on the side facing Vindegade and Kongens Have. In 1997 two small glass additions towards Jernbanegade were added.
Description:
The theatre building is built in red brick with a blue-glazed tile roof. The projecting centre facade with three doors opening into the foyer is provided with a frontispiece and a curved copper roof. The building is set back 10 metres from the street alignment, thereby giving way to a front plaza. The curved shape of the roof is repeated in the layout of the two additions from 1997, which enhances the impression of the plaza. The theatre has 652 seats.
