The complex consists of several rows of attached houses of 1½ and 3 storeys. The houses take inspiration from Dutch gable houses supplied with glass-covered access balconies. The bottom storeys are white-painted, whereas the gables are painted in various colours. The small, unfenced, private gardens face the common open spaces and the river. The houses are built around the old, classicist deanery, which has been preserved as a common house for the residents.
