Local Aalborg artist, Nils Sloth, has decorated entrance areas.
The residence halls are located at the eastern end of Utzon Park, and have been designed as three point blocks with 6 – 7 floors, so as to appear as sighting points from within the town centre. Constructed in concrete and zinc, the halls have an expression of massiveness and slanted roofs that open towards the Utzon Centre. It has been important to create harmony between the Utzon Centre and the halls, thereby making the area appear as a whole, with the Utzon Park at the centre. In the park, the objective has been creating a more intimate air with a touch of green to augment the harbour front.
