The area surrounding the approach to Limfjordsbroen has been significantly enhanced by the addition of parklands, a multi-sports court, and a central square in front of the communal building, Kulturbroen (opened in 2005). The area also includes the newly renovated and partly transparent pump house with rockery plants on the roof.
In addition, floodlights in various colours and sizes create an atmospheric illumination of the bridge structure. This emphasizes the spaces between the pillars and creates dramatic visual experiences in the evening.
The area is open to the public 24 hours a day, but to fully experience the lighting, plan your visit for the evening.
