At the moment, Gråbrødre Plads is being physically altered, using paving and installations that will present a harmonious whole. The PAVING is being laid using tiles in the style of old medieval bricks, blue-grey in colour with a refracting surface. The GROVE will consist of concentration of seven trees of various species, both deciduous and coniferous. The TOMB RUIN is a cross built of tiles with two steps up, each 15 cm high. Behind the cross, small recesses in the paving allow for climbing roses to adorn the monastery wall while closing off the corner. The MONOLITHS are pentagonal in shape. Four of them are in granite, the fifth in brass. The four granite monoliths are blocks of white granite, which, apart from being white, has a high crystalline content which makes it shimmer. The WATER INSTALLATIONS consist of ten pentagonal granite tiles (the same type of granite as the monoliths), formed as two pentagonal shapes one on top of the other. Each installation is fitted with a nozzle and the regulatory mechanism allows for the flow of water to be controlled as desired or required. In addition, each nozzle is fitted with a light source that will highlight the water in the dark.
