Right in the middle of Odense there is a gem of a garden city: Gerthasminde. Yellow and red houses stand in rows along winding streets and round open spaces. In between are green gardens, and the streets are bordered by trees and grass like in a town far away from noise and bustle.
The charming garden city lies between Ansgargade, Falen, Vandværksvej and Kirkegårds Allè.
It has 40 housing units ranging from single-family houses, semi-detached houses and terrace houses, while some of the other houses have been converted to public institutions. Centrally located in the complex there is a hotel.
